The women pictured above live in a leper colony in rural India and just received new buckets, from which to collect water from their own well.
They were prohibited from using the village water well because they or a family  member has leprosy.

A new well with an electric pump was provided by people who care, allowing those who lost fingers because of leprosy to draw water using a spigot instead.

Access to clean water has transformed this rejected community.
